We all have great memories of our youth, gathering with friends playing hockey in our driveways, streets and parking lots. The Hearthwood Cup is looking to bring together friends and family in the community and allow us all to re-live our childhood.
Each year the tournament looks to help the community and support a great local cause, this year we are continuing our partnership with the Windsor Police Service and their Camp Brombal Program. Our goal is to raise enough funds to help send as many children possible each year to experience this fantastic program.
Camp Brombal is a yearly event which honour’s the unique multicultural diversity within our community and provides youth between the ages of 10-12, who may not otherwise have the opportunity to attend camp. Camp Brombal has an annual cost of $20,000.00, with the cost of sending one child to camp totaling $400.00. As a result the Windsor Police Service continuously seek public and community assistance in making the camp free for the children and their families.
Teams are invited to participate in our senior division co-ed tournament.

The Hearthwood Series Cup welcomes all players ages 18 and up of any skill level or gender. We encourage all players to participate, if enough co-ed teams are registered within the age category a separate co-ed division will be formed. Circumstances may occur where co-ed teams will be matched up against all male teams at some point in the tournament
Novice & Intermediate Divisions will be made in the initial grouping but may be amalgamated in the tournament playoff bracket (Depending on registration numbers)
Event is played with (4) “out” Players and (1) Goaltender on the court. The additional two players on the roster are in game substitutes with player changes made on the fly.
Guaranteed Games: 3 Games
Teams will all play their first 3 games on Saturday as part of “Group Play” Upon completion of the games qualifying teams will be seeded for the “Playoff Tournament” which will take place on Saturday Afternoon/Evening.
Playoff Schedules will be posted online as well a schedule being sent to each Captain via email Saturday evening approximately 2 hours after all Group games have been completed.
Playoffs are tournament bracket based and once you lose in a Playoff round, your team is eliminated.

Street rinks will be created with average size of 90 ft. in length by 75 ft. in width.
Each rink will consist of regulation steel 4’ x 6’ nets.
Refreshments & Snacks will be available (Proceeds Donated to Camp Brombal)
All Players must provide their own equipment.
All types of sticks that are not damaged or deemed to be ‘dangerous’ in any way by the official are permitted. Plastic, wood, aluminum, composite etc. are all acceptable.
Player’s ages 14 or younger MUST wear eye protection during all games. Eye protection is defined as a helmet with a visor/full cage or fully protective CSA approved goggles that cover the eye entirely against the face.
Eye protection, helmets, jocks, gloves, shin and mouth guards are all STRONGLY ENCOURAGED but not mandatory.
Participants will be asked to provide their own team shirts and if possible bring 2 different colour’s in the event two teams matched up are wearing similar colour’s.
Winning teams from all groups will receive assorted prizing provided by event sponsors as well as champion t-shirts or trophies. Prize packages details will be revealed as the event approaches so check back for more details!
Like other participatory sporting events, The Hearthwood Series Cup operates under a strict no – refund policy. The reason for this policy is that as soon as a team has registered, organizers make commitments based on registration (t-shirts, player packs, etc.) As a result, refunds will not be granted once your team has been registered. Registered players can be changed though any time up until your first game is played.
